FAQ
How is the landed price calculated?
Item price (converted at FX) + a representative forwarding fee (by weight and source) + import tax (by category band, waived when the duty is ≤¥50).
How accurate is the estimate?
It's an estimate — indicative FX, a representative ordinary line, and customs sets the actual assessed value. Use it to ballpark before buying; pick a specific line in the comparison for exact shipping.
What if I use a tax-inclusive line?
On a tax-inclusive line the duty is bundled into the shipping fee, so treat the tax line as already covered and defer to the forwarder's quote.
How can I avoid import tax?
Keep a parcel's value low enough that the computed duty is ≤¥50 — about ¥250 at the 20% band. Don't split items into multiple under-declared parcels; that's a violation.
